The Partnership for Lebanon was launched in 2006 to help generate critically needed resources to assist the reconstruction efforts in Lebanon. Recent conflict has caused the destruction of homes and schools in Lebanon, and has disrupted the provision of basic services to the Lebanese people.
Over the past 24 months, the Partnership has solicited scores of proposals from experienced NGOs designed to improve the lives of the Lebanese people. After a thorough vetting and evaluation process, the Partnership has awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars to fund worthy projects.
Utilizing Partnership funds, Habitat for Humanity is helping to rebuild the homes of hundreds of Lebanese families, assisting with design, architecture, and civil planning, and providing technical consultation to thousands of people to successfully manage and document the reconstruction of their homes.
